A super-special bottling of one of the finest little parcels of fruit in all of Sassella. 'Vigna degli Apostoli' is a small vineyard perched at 300m near the Sassella church before you. From an exemplary vintage, this wine was aged in 25 hectolitre oak for about 26 months before a brief rest in stainless steel and 3 years in bottle before release. It is super fine, structured and elegant - this finest wine we have seen out of Valtellina. 2000 bottles were produced of which we have a handful. Drinks impeccably now with air, or leave long term in your cellar.
