A dark mountain red wine from high on North facing slopes near Aosta. Lots of soaked blackberry, alpine underbrush and some austerity and a linear nature. Made in obscenely small amounts from very old vines (40-100yrs). It is 90% Petit Rouge with 10% Vien de Nus & Fumin aged in oak for 2 years. 1500 bottles made.
