Hailing from the deep Austrian north of Italy, Manni is making whites that rank amongst Italy's finest - and they are extraordinarily affordable. Whilst it would be much simpler to sell his Riesling, we much prefer to push back against fashionable, introduced varieties and represent the natives of Alto Adige. Manni's Sylvaner is the best there is. It proudly shines, showing off delicate orchard fruits, smacked herbs and typical clean minerals. The wine has better balance than simply being 'racy', it runs vertical and pure, like an alpine waterway. From less than half a hectare at 660-700m! Divine.
